THE PROJECT
«THE SWING» means become part of digital art and collectibles history. It is a collection of 100 unique digital «assisted readymades». The distribution starts with the main artwork «A bred having fun» following by 99 other individual swings as NFT collectibles.

The artwork is inspired by Jean-Honoré Fragonards «The Swing» in 1767 and by Marcel Duchamp the founder of conceptual art and readymades. Duchamps selected and modified ordinary manufactured objects, as an antidote to what he called «retinal art». By simply choosing the object (or objects) and repositioning or joining, titling and signing it, the found object became art. As an antidote to retinal art he began creating readymades in 1914 when the term was commonly used in the United States to describe manufactured items to distinguish them from handmade goods.

We are pushing readymades to the future by creating the world's first oeuvre on the blockchain. Each swing is individual and has its own character with a varying «assisting» object. You choose the digital artwork which is matching to you and your lifestyle, profession, culture or heritage. Express yourself by buying your favourite swing and choosing a name.
